The Holy Bible is 100 Percent Fact
As you read the bold statement in the title, that the Holy Bible is 100 Percent Fact, many of you will not agree. In fact, many of you will think that I'm just another mindless believer. As I've already written in a previous post, I know that God exists. There isn't a question in my mind about it. Now, after recent and diligent research, I know that the bible is 100 percent fact — there isn't a word of fiction in it.
Errors in Translation
The only mistakes in the bible are the mistakes made when translating it into your native language from the original languages it was written in. Those languages include Hebrew, Greek, and Aramaic. It's not surprising since they cover centuries of history.
Whenever you doubt the validity of a translation, it's incumbent upon you to find out what the correct translation should be. I have been doing this for the better part of six months.
Bible Codes
Over the last few years, there has been some debate over the validity of some mysterious bible codes. If you ignore the mathematical equations, you still can't ignore the way it was written. There doesn't seem to be a logical order to some of the books and some of it seems to not make any sense to the average reader.
The track record of the prophecies in the bible is mind-boggling. The events for every prophecy, except for those prophecies concerning the end times, have already taken place. Both the prophecies and the events they describe are contained within the pages of the bible.
The End Times
The most important prophesy concerning the end times is in the Book of Daniel. Several verses (that I can't name without looking them up) speak about the events that take place in the Book of Revelation.
After you do the math and take into account the periods of time that are excluded from the date computations, the result of the end of the period of blindness for the Jews is 1992. There are other periods during the 19th and 20th centuries that I believe should also be excluded, adding up to about 10 years.
The Mayan Calendar
The ancient Mayan calendar abruptly ends in December of 2012. Did the Mayans know something we don't? Did they have these dates computed well in advance? Your guess is as good as mine about that, but it's an amazing coincidence.
If the computations I've made, along with the corroboration of the Mayan calendar, don't make you sit back and think about it, nothing will.
A New World Order
The Antichrist is supposed to make his appearance, at a specific point in time, as the ruler of a new world order. That doesn't mean he isn't in some form of power right now.
The state of the world has to be in a global crisis before the Antichrist steps in to straighten it all out (and keep it that way for 3 1/2 years). I believe the current financial crisis, spreading from the US to other countries, and the rise of China in economics may be the prelude of things to come, but I'm not sure about it. There are other things that have to take place as well.
Fact, Not Fiction
I know it's a bold statement when I say the Holy Bible is 100 percent fact. The proof is in the pages of the bible itself. It's up to you to find out what I've learned through diligent study. Before proving it to myself, I thought the bible was just a collection of stories. I was wrong. Very wrong.
The problem that most people have about the bible is not what's there for you to read. It's what isn't there. A lot of details were left out and I suspect they were intentionally left out by the original authors and for specific reasons. I found one and I'm not going to tell you what it is. You have to read the book of Genesis, the part dealing with the "almost" sacrifice of Isaac by Abraham, and discover it for yourself.

But if the truth of scripture isn't revealed by God to a man (or woman) they will have eyes that do not see and ears that do not hear. They could spend a lifetime trying to discover the truth of the Bible but would be blind to it the entire time.
You're right, of course. Some people just need a little push and that's my intention.
Believe as you will – it is a it is. Religious scholars — those with years of training IN the faith; also recognize the Bible is a comglomeration of writings — many done 100 or more years after the death of Jesus (New Testament). Fact concerning the meetings in the 300's and 400's to 'solidifiy' the teachings and the faith —- which added and cut those writings they did not feel 'fit' the way they wished the foundation to 'be'.
Inspired writings?
Probably. Though, the Dead Sea Scrolls show that much of what was 'written' for the Old Testament and the New had been 'said and written' before the birth of Christ.
Even so, it is an interesting document of the tales told around the campfires and passed on from generation to generation. Part mythos, part parables and tales to teach, and part historical commentary. An interesting read.
I once believed as you believe. One day, it became crystal clear. Everything that happened to create the book we call the bible was intended to happen exactly as it happened, including the actions of Emperor Constantine and the Council of Nicea long after the last book was written.
I can't convince anyone of that. You have to do your own research. Once you find what I have found, you have to come to your own conclusions.
This is a great topic! And YES I'm religious..There was a Jerusalem, there was a Roman Empire, there was an Augustus Caesar. There was an Egypt. There was a temple. There was and is a Red Sea.
Was there a flood like the one Noah and the crew survived? There might have been something along those lines especially if you are a Velikovskian. But one of every life form, male and female when applicable, on one wooden boat? I don’t think so. And what about the plants?
An Empire-wide forced return to one’s native town or village for tax or census purposes? Unlikely. Surviving records make no mention of anything like that and for something of that magnitude there would have been contemporary accounts all over the place.
Virgin birth? Old hat in Jesus’ day. It had been done before. Almost obligatory for any of the mystery religions. Water into wine? Whatever. Talking bushes? Mountain top conferences with God?
Hallucinogens were not exactly unknown in connection with ancient Jewish religious practices.
I’d have to say that the Bible is both.
It makes for a fantastic debate because you're not seeing the whole picture. No one sees the whole picture. The stories in question are representations of what happened, not the stories in their entirety. Abbreviated, if you will, for the sake of brevity. If not, a few chapters would be bigger than the entire body of work. Anyway, it's all that was needed for the people it was originally written for.
Really? You're taking it absolutely literally, not even as allusory or indicative? Even the most religious people I know accept that there's a little artistic licence exercised there.

In order to understand it, you have to take it literally. Even the most confusing book, Genesis, is literal. You have to realize that it was written for the Hebrews at the time and they understood the concept of what the timetables actually meant. It's gibberish to the casual reader and that's exactly as it's intended.
Interesting. I'd always taken it to be a collection of pointers to a greater truth. It never occured to me that people were even expected to take it literally.

I believe there are many examples in the bible that are put there to give us a situation and show how it panned out in the end. Not everything should be taken so literally in it.
Thank you for your share.I am a religous people and believe in bible. That's sound a great point.

the bible those look that it contradicts itself but it looks that way bcuz you dont read it right and dont understand the meaning example when Peter sees a vision when God ask him to eat all kinds of animals that couldn't be eaten ppl read that and think that God is saying that we can eat does animals, but ppl dont read all of the passage when you read it all you clearly see God was not talking about the animals but about the gentials, bcuz there was a gential who believe in God but Peter was a Jew and couldn't mix with gentials. it goes something like this

Yes, the Bible is 100% accurate in the original languages.
Since the prophesied Antichrist will have full control of the global financial system, increasing demand for a global financial system based on the recent meltdown seems to be yet another prophetic stepping stone going into place.
Obama may not be the prophesied Antichrist, but his unique global reception as a Messiah figure reveals the world is ready to warmly welcome and eventually worship the Antichrist when he is unveiled.
According to Bible prophecy, false Messiahs (plural) arise as this age draws to a close. These political and religious leaders seduce the unwary with good words and polished speeches, and later work great miracles, signs and wonders to deceive multitudes worldwide.
Spiritual deception will dramatically increase, eventually so convincing it will be difficult to resist.
